How to tell you darling..

I looked into your brown wooded eyes, i saw everything but me.

You never saw me watching you, you never saw my smile, you never felt those heartbeats.

You never knew how bad I love you, how many stories I want to tell you, how many hours I want to spend with you, and how badly I want to know you better. Although I’m sure i know you pretty enough.

The way you write your poems that were never about me, the way you love to study and achieve your goals, the way you love to discover new things. You’ll never know that we have so much in common cause you never cared.

The way you walk in a weirdly , the way you laugh and move your hands, your loud voice when you’re excited.

I bet you got your heart broken, i could see it in your eyes, i could understand that you have many secrets you’ll never be able to say, not because you can’t but because you don’t like to share a lot about yourself, not even to your closest friends.

So tell me now are you going to let me in?

Are you going to hear me out? Are you going to stare into my eyes? Are you ever going to feel me?

They keep saying things like, you’re so strong, so pretty, so brave, so stubborn and so wise……but they never saw how I change in front of you, how I forget myself.

But listen darling..

I won’t lie to you, yes I want you to be mine. But, I’ll never break my dignity, I’ll never cry, I’ll never beg for you to see me.

However, I’ll just continue achieving my goals, I’ll continue studying, discovering new things and most importantly writing in my own words. <3
